Samantha Ruth Prabhu's inaugural production, 'Shubham', is all set to premiere on JioHotstar on June 13, 2025, following its theatrical release on May 9, 2025. This Telugu horror comedy has unexpectedly become a box office hit, receiving acclaim from audiences and critics alike.
Set in the early 2000s in Bheemili, a time before the internet and mobile phones became prevalent, 'Shubham' intertwines elements of horror and comedy. Srinivas grows concerned as he notices similar behavior among other women in the village, prompting him to delve deeper into this unsettling mystery.
The announcement of the OTT release was made by JioHotstar Telugu via a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “This June 13th, katha aarambham on JioHotstar. Chacchina choodalsindhe.”
